It was not with the purest of intentions that I joined this rouge's gallery and merry chase after the unknown. I believe the theory that myths reveal something of a people's character, and in many cases their history as well. I seek the meta-myth. I'm trying to find those things that are common to most mythological systems to get at something that could be considered universally human, the sort of myth that might have been remembered in it's various incarnations from some particularly painful or joyous episodes in man's collective pre-history in Central Africa or Mesopotamia.

Also, I'm here to get material for an RPG i'm designing. It's got a myspace group called Children of Avalyce, and version 0.5 is in progress. To say that it has holes is somewhat like saying that the ocean is a bit damp, but I'll take any advice or critisicm on the topic that anybody cares to give.
