Mythological Walrus ghost/ghoul/devil?

I'm looking for the name of and info about a mythological ghost/ghoul/devil/beast that looks like a sort of malevolent walrus. Might be Slavic or Native American in origin?

There's the rosmarine but I don't think it's very maleovent. There's also a bunyip, which is Australian, that is walrus like and likes to eat people.

well i looked up sea demons and all i got was a teenager series and they were called telekhines :(
